Hi! Welcome to my page! I hope you enjoy my posts and keep coming back to read all about the love that I have for my children and the love that I have gained for running over the past year or maybe just to hear about my life experiences that have shaped me into the woman that I am today!
- First, A little about me. I am a 34-year-old single mom who works full time while raising two children and somehow manages to fit in some training for Half Marathon’s and now my newest goal, a MARATHON! Yes, I am actually FULL crazy! I am currently in the middle of a divorce after 10 years of marriage. He is a wonderful man but unfortunately situations/experiences in our lives has brought us here. I am still hopeful that one day I will eventually find someone to share my ever evolving and wonderful life with! Life is never simple and we all go through many obstacles in life. Some harder than others. I hope to share with you some of those experiences that I have encountered over my short lifetime and I would love to hear back on your views/similar experiences.
- Next, a little about my beautiful Children. My “True Loves”. My oldest Natalee is age 15 and her nickname is “Baby girl” even though she is the oldest. She was the only child for 6 years and has owned that title Baby girl since then. Natalee is turning into a beautiful, strong, independent young lady. I am so very proud of her. I know, I know. All Mom’s say that about their children. But Natalee has been through a lot more than most 15 year olds and she still amazes me every day on how she handles everything!
- My middle child Kevin, would have been 10 years old this year in November. He was the light of our life. He was my smile at the end of a long day. He was one special little boy and anyone that was lucky enough to met him knew how special. Even though Kevin was disabled, he was always smiling and loved every moment of life. He truly was amazing and I am sure I will be sharing some of those experiences that we have had with him over the years in this blog.
- Then there is my Lilee girl, Age 7, who is my youngest child. She is my energetic one. Aren’t the youngest children always the crazy ones? Lol Lilee has the most amazing outlook on life. She truly has a love of life that I hope she holds onto forever. I am sure you will hear many Lilee stories (Lilisms) throughout my days of blogging! Be warned, she is very entertaining.
Hope you enjoy my blog and I hope to hear from you!
R, Sammy (Btw…most people call me Sam but my family calls me Sammy.)
